When is enough, enough!
One of the more frequent questions asked on safari these days is “when will they start culling elephants again?”, and the truth is there is no easy answers to this problem.

As mentioned in my previous post, White Lions once again roam the Timbavati but this time they have arrived en mass. There are now currently 6 White Lion cubs that we know of in the Timbavati. This has never happened before and if the ancient Shangaan are to be believed all is well in the land. The White Lions have been seen as a good omen for many years and we hope this will be true this time around.
This week we had the pleasure of hosting the now World Famous Dan Green, from the Cape based super group, Me and Mr Brown. Although the weather never played along as the temperatures varied from 40 degree heat to torrential downpour which left every stream, drainage line and river bursting its banks. None the less we did have a few real special sightings including White Lions in the Timbavati! Read more…
The Rains have finally arrived and the bushveld is transforming into a beautiful green utopia. The overall condition of all the game species are improving by the day as the nutritious green flush comes through. This week we had a wet but extremely successful safari in the Kruger National Park and the Timbavati. In what can only be termed an “extraordinary” 24 hours in the Kruger National Park the game was in abundance.

Game is struggling and are having to take more risk’s to get to water and food and the big cats of Africa are cashing in. Leopards in particular, as so it would seem as on our last safari,as we managed to see at least 1 every drive and 1 managed to nearly put me on her menu… Read more…
Greetings to you all! Dean and I have both just returned from our respective safari’s and what can we say, Africa has certainly put on her red dress! On Deans first day of Safari he came across 4 separate Lion sightings, 2 Leopards on Kills in Trees, about 16 White Rhino, a plethora of Elephants and 3 massive herds of Buffalo not to mention all the general game to boot. Not bad for 12 hours of safari in the Kruger National Park. Read more…
Greetings after a lenghty break! Well we have just returned from another amazing Safari this time it was Lions on Safari for a change! Yes we hosted 4 Irish lads out supporting the British and Irish Lions and boy did the African bush put on her best dress. These boys brought the proverbial luck of the Irish as they witnessed some of the most memorable game sightings I have ever had the privilege of watching.
