Greetings to you all! Dean and I have both just returned from our respective safari’s and what can we say, Africa has certainly put on her red dress! On Deans first day of Safari he came across 4 separate Lion sightings, 2 Leopards on Kills in Trees, about 16 White Rhino, a plethora of Elephants and 3 massive herds of Buffalo not to mention all the general game to boot. Not bad for 12 hours of safari in the Kruger National Park.
I on the other hand was in the Timbavati at the very beautiful Kings Camp and had amazing game over the 10 day period. Lions on a buffalo kill in the Staff Village (dragged a safe distance away while the guests watched in amazement as I scratch around under the vehicle trying not to look threatening) Leopard hunting for over two hours, one of the biggest herds of Buffalo I have ever seen and loads of every other animal to match. Also the warmer days, 35+ degree’s, has signalled the return of many of our summer Birds which is making for excellent photographic opportunities as Wahlbergs and other Eagles return to nesting sites from previous years.
I have included a few pictures for your viewing pleasure!
Where ever you are in the World may the Skies above you always be open…

Another tough day in Africa
