Most people who have been on safari with me in the Timbavati over the last 9 years has probably spent time with a beautiful leopardess called the Rockfig Female. Sadly things haven’t gone her way over the last few months.

Leopards, Leopards and more Leopards
A hearty hello once again, and just back in civilisation for a few days before heading back to the bush again.
Still no rain, but what it does mean is that the predators are having a field day at the moment. Game is struggling and are having to take more risk’s to get to water and food and the big cats of Africa are cashing in. Timbavati Safari
Greetings to you all! Dean and I have both just returned from our respective safari’s and what can we say, Africa has certainly put on her red dress! On Deans first day of Safari he came across 4 separate Lion sightings, 2 Leopards on Kills in Trees, about 16 White Rhino, a plethora of Elephants and 3 massive herds of Buffalo not to mention all the general game to boot.
